1. A sink or bucket is filled with room-temperature water and a tablespoon of liquid dish soap is added.

2. The ceiling fan brush’s bristles are washed and rubbed with your hands until the visible residue is removed.

3. The bristles are rinsed with cool running water.

4. The brush is hanged to dry.
