Ozone generators are used to get rid of musty odors as well as for killing the mildew and other fungus that are present in your air vents.
Instructions
1. During the treatment and for several hours after the treatment, preferably overnight, keep everyone even your pets, out of the area. Windows and doors in the room should be kept open to have proper ventilation.
2. Several pieces of cardboard should be cut that are the same size as the air vents. The cardboard should be taped over all the air vents except one.
3. During the treatment, wear a face mask all the time. The ozone nozzle should be placed against the air vent that you left open and turned on.
4. The ozone should be left on for several hours. After the allotted time is over, the ozone is turned off and the cardboards removed from the air vents. After the ozone treatment, leave the air vents off for 24 hours.
